We highly encourage parents to bring their kids to Holo Haven! Parents are expected to manage their kids at all times while in the game store and maintain responsibility for them. Kids 10 years and younger must remain either in the same room as their parents, or in the lounge where couches and a TV are set up for them to use. Kids 10 years and younger found wandering the building will be returned to their parents and a warning will be issued to the parent. If this happens a second time, you will be asked to leave for the day.
Kids can be rowdy and loud at times, but we ask that you remember this is a game store and your kids should be engaging in activities pursuant to that. Running around, yelling, or other conduct that disrupts other players’ ability to enjoy their time is not allowed, and you may be asked to provide another activity to your kids, move them to another room, or leave for the day. At any time Holo Haven Staff may direct a parent that their kid must remain by their side for the day.
If your kid is sick with a contagious illness, or has physical symptoms that can spread contagion, they may not come into the store in order to prevent the spread of illness.
Kids 13 years of age and younger may not be left at Holo Haven alone without a family member or guardian above the age of 18 present. However, with the approval of store owners, kids 14-17 years old may be dropped off at Holo Haven to spend time playing cards and games or participating in a tournament. Check with a staff member for more details on this.
Holo Haven employees and volunteers will never take responsibility for the direct supervision and safety of minors.
